Marina Spadaro was born in Rome but lives and works in Marino ( RM).
The meaningful stages of her artistic research have been: the course of drawing from the nude by Turcato at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome ; the “art on plain air” experimentation on day and night colours followed in the Casa Laboratorio di Cenci, in Umbria, for several years ; the Ikebana art classes by Maiumi , teacher of O’ Hara School, for five years ; the multiannual teaching of Marco Maurizio Rossi, watercolour artist and master; the multiannual teaching of an art experimenter, Ada Impallara. In August 2012 she got the degree of the Art Academy of Nocella Abbey to have taken part in the seminar “Finden” held by Margareth Donigatti. It’s three years since she took part in Terre Incognite, association of artists in the Roman Castles. From the biginning of 2015 she takes part in ARA (Associazione Romana Acquerellisti) as an ordinary member and she deepens the technique of watercolour with Claudio Castiglioni and Keiko Tanabe. In 2015 and in 2016 she was selected to participate in FabrianoinWatercolour, international meeting of watercolour artists. In Dicember 2015 she takes part to Premio Mare Nostrum Mediterraneo, the 5th edition, announced by the Euromediterranean Accademy of Arts, with her work ”Mare nostro”, and she received the Accademy’s President’s expecial prize. In Dicember 2016, in the 6th edition, she received the second prize for painting with her new work “Landing”
